Over the last 12 months, there have been plenty of exciting developments in the world of vehicle leasing and fleet management. That is why we wanted to take the opportunity to look back and reflect on what’s happened, and what it all means for the future of our company.

Soccerlease launches

As a whole, sgfleet has always placed great import on innovation and technology, and 2018 was no different. Among the products that we have launched this year has been Soccerlease.

Borne out of an initial offering to football clubs across the country, Soccerlease has now evolved and is being offered to all sports clubs, giving them the opportunity to enhance their membership packages and reward fans for their continued loyalty.

Already taken up by several major clubs within the UK (including Birmingham City FC and Portsmouth FC), the team are working hard behind the scenes to roll this product out to a variety of different industries, which will continue well into 2019.

Head Office renovations

It’s not just digital products that we’ve been working on over the last 12 months; there are a lot of developments within our own offices.

Rolled out in two phases, the changes to the sgfleet Head Offices have completely re-designed and re-imagined the journey our clients go on when they join us.

From bespoke wall art to upgraded electric vehicle charging points, we have invested in ensuring that our organisation is one that our team are proud to work for, regardless of whether they are in sales, logistics or marketing.

Industry events and networking

Citywork, Edinburgh

Several members of our team attended the Citywork event in Edinburgh this year, and we have to say it was a fantastic event.

With a focus on developing a positive corporate culture, it was great to see the number of businesses that are focusing on rewarding their teams for their on-going work with company car schemes.

The Stadium Business Summit

Home to Lancashire County Cricket Club, the Emirates Old Trafford was the site for the Stadium Business Summit this year.

This was the perfect opportunity for our team to introduce Soccerlease to a variety of sporting clubs that were also attending, as well as giving our team the chance to enjoy this iconic location.

Sir Trevor Chinn joins the sgfleet UK group

sgfleet UK Holdings is exceptionally pleased to announce that Sir Trevor Chinn has joined us as a Non-Executive Chairman of the Board.

A leading entrepreneur, Sir Trevor has previously held positions including Chairman of RAC plc, Kwik-Fit and the AA.
